Update on the Origin of Second-Hand (Worn) Clothing

The need to clean and fumigate clothing on the rules of origin of second-hand clothing has now been removed.

In order to meet the criteria to obtain UK origin status the clothes need to comply with the following requirements

They have been collected and packaged for shipment in the United Kingdom
They must show signs of appreciable wear; and
They must be presented in bulk or in bales, sacks or similar packings
