What will the placement cover?

• How a freight forwarder deals with a RFQ (Requesting rates with Airlines, Shipping lines, consolidator etc)

• Explanation about a forwarders global reach (Overseas offices, Networks etc)

• Learn how freight charges are calculated. (Chargeable weights, CBM etc)

• Observe how freight bookings are received and how they are handled.

• Observe how a transport document such as an AWB or Bill of lading is completed from export’s documentation.

• Observe a track and trace exercise to show how cargo is monitored by the freight forwarder.

• Observe how a Customs entry is completed and processed.
