Business Opportunities in Spain: From Brexit to Covid-19

Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the UK is organising a webinar for UK companies.

With Over $3.7bn worth of untapped export potential for goods from the UK to Spain, Companies in the North West and Greater Manchester have plenty of opportuniuties to increase their footprint in this market across a wide range of sectors.   

The North West region contributes to 10% of the total UK Exports to Spain, and between 2016-18, exports grew by 9%.   Greater Manchester is the 2nd largest exporter to Spain from the North West region and in 2018,  exports amounted a total of £247million.   The largest 3 exporting sectors from the NW to Spain include:

• Chemicals (40%)

• Machinery and Equipment (25%); and 

• Manufactured Goods (14%)
