About the event

GMCC in collaboration with Madrid City Council, Madrid Investment Attraction and How2Go are holding a presentation and networking event to introduce you trade and investment opportunities in Spain and special focus on Madrid.   You will have the chance to meet representatives from the clusters and visiting companies from Madrid looking to find business partnerships in the UK

In 2021, the North West region had reached an estimated total trade of £3.5bn worth of goods and services and is one of Greater Manchester's top trading partners. There are over 3,700 businesses in the NW region currently trading with Spain.

Why attend?

According to Statista, Spain's GDP growth is expected to reach 2.08% in 2025 and with an unrealised export potential estimated at USD$5.2bn, there are plenty of opportunities for British companies to grow and expand in this market.   Sectors such as Automotive, Machinery & Transport Equipment,  Chemicals,  Pharmaceuticals, Medical devices and much more.   The North West region is the 3nd largest exporting region of goods to Spain as of 2023 Q3.

Madrid, the capital of Spain, already attracts 73% of the total investment in Spain due to its pool of talent, connectivity and infrastructure.

The cancellation must be in writing and sent to indicating the event you are cancelling for and delegate(s) details. Failure to do so within this timeframe, will incurr in a cancellation/no-show admin fee as follows:

• Members: £15+VAT per delegate

• Non-Members: £20+VAT per delegate

We are aiming to reduce catering waste, for this reason we will enforce this late cancellation/no-show fee. If you book and fail to attend three or more times on free events, we reserve the right to restrict access for future events.
