About the event
Between May and October 2019, HMRC issued penalties between £5,000 and £9,000 to 9 UK exporters for unlicensed export of goods. This does not solely depend on the nature of the goods but also on the end-user and how the goods will be used. Many companies are not aware of export control regulations implications for them and do not know how to apply for an export licence or how to best manage it going forward hence risking strict penalties and fines. This webinar is part of a range of event, training and services offered by Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce to help businesses ensure they are exporting compliantly.
The webinar will focus on the practical aspects of Export Controls relating to Small to Medium Sized Enterprise (SME) and will look at the integrated process of managing export licences. The below will be covered:
