Last April, we launched a new series of international trade bitesize sessions as part of our ongoing commitment to support businesses in Greater Manchester and beyond to navigate their international trade journey as smoothly as possible.
We have now delivered five sessions on a range of topics including Export and Import Basics, as well as VAT Triangulation among others, which were attended by over 150 delegates in total, both members and non-members, 80% of which have rated the sessions as ‘Excellent or Very Good’.
If you would like to register for the upcoming sessions or watch the recordings of the past ones, please click here and get yourself up to date with the latest developments.
In addition to the sessions that had already been confirmed previously, we are now pleased to announce that we have added new dates covering topics such as Debt Collection in partnership with Engage and REACH Chemical Regulation in partnership with Squire Patton Boggs to mention but a few.
These are free one-hour sessions delivered virtually fortnightly on Thursdays from 12:00-13:00 and aimed at covering the basics on exporting and importing.
Please see bellow a full list of confirmed sessions:
Postponed VAT Accounting for Imports – 1st July
Debt Collection – 15th July
REACH Chemical Regulation – 9th September
CE Marking – 23rd September
The Points-Based Immigration System – 7th October
In addition to this series, we also provide a range of services to help companies adapt to the new rules. Please visit our Brexit Hub to find out more about the support available or contact the team at exportbritain@gmchamber.co.uk
