The Customs Declaration Service will be unavailable on 28th March from 8pm due to scheduled maintenance. This means customs declarations will be unable to be processed until the service resumes on 29th March. GMRs may also be impacted. You can view the service availability and issues here.
The updates to CDS include:
Important Update for Cooking Sauces (Tariff Code 2103909089) where an excise code will be now mandatory
Excise Duty Updates for Cooking Alcohols
Both country of origin (DE 5/15) and country of preferential origin (DE 5/16) must be supplied where required
Chapter 99 commodity codes relating to transfer of residence relief. CDS release will enforce these existing rules by preventing the use of Chapter 99 Commodity Codes 99050000 and 99190000 on all export declarations
