GM Chambers eCert Platform Supplier Launches New Website with Enhanced Security and New Digital Carnet Features

SGS United Kingdom Ltd, the service provider of the eCert platform used by Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, has launched a new website as of 13 July.

The updated platform features a refreshed, modern design, improved site architecture, and enhanced security measures, providing a more streamlined and secure experience for exporters applying online for:

• Certificates of Origin

• Certified Invoices and other documents

• EUR1 Certificates

• International Import Certificates

• ATA Carnets

Existing eCert Users

Existing customers can continue to access their accounts via the eCERT UK Portal using their current username and password. If you have forgotten your password since your last login, please use the "Forgot Password" option to reset it before accessing your account.

New to eCert?

Businesses can create a new eCert account directly with one of our offices:

Manchester City Office – New Company Registration via the eCERT UK Portal

Airport Office – New Company Registration via the eCERT UK Portal

New Security Feature – Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

To provide additional protection for your account, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now available as an optional security feature. Customers can enable MFA at any time by selecting the My Profile icon within their eCert account.

New Digital ATA Carnet Feature

As part of the latest platform update, exporters using ATA Carnets will benefit from a new pop-up feature that provides quick access to their Digital Carnet QR code and PIN. This makes it easier than ever to add a carnet to a digital wallet, supporting the continued rollout of the paperless ATA Carnet process.

Whether you're an existing ATA Carnet user or looking to simplify the temporary movement of goods across international borders, we encourage you to take advantage of this new functionality and the benefits of the recent paperless process.
