The defining feature of the EUR-MED is its ability to support cumulation of origin. Unlike the standard EUR.1 certificate, the EUR-MED allows you to count materials and processing from multiple PEM member countries towards your product's "originating" status.

  • This means components sourced from one PEM country can be incorporated into a final product manufactured in another PEM country, and the finished item will still qualify for preferential tariff treatment when exported to a third PEM country.

  • Exporting goods of preferential origin to PEM countries.

  • Shipment value exceeds €6,000 (for smaller consignments, an invoice declaration may suffice).
