As exporters get ready to participate in global exhibitions across different sectors, if you are a British Business considering attending trade shows in late summer, autumn and winter, it is important to make sure you are not just ‘marketing and sales ready’ but understand if you must comply with any customs paperwork for samples, stand equipment, tools or any other goods you may be taking out of the UK on temporary basis.
For those exhibiting in non-EU countries, the use of ATA Carnets will not be a new customs document they have to familiarise with. Whilst those who primarily were dealing with EU customers and attending exhibitions there, this could well be something they need to consider.
So, if you are an exporter planning to attend any of these upcoming exhibitions for which you are taking goods out temporarily or which you may intend to sell, then please check with our expert team what customs process or document is the most suitable for your trip.
Whether an ATA Carnet, or duplicate list or a customs entry is what you require, our team is at hand to advice and help you with any of these requirements.
